Brandt is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Saskatoon Construction & Forestry team.

This role involves the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry equipment in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose equipment issues, ordering parts as needed
  • Use safety protocols and best practices to ensure efficient and effective work
  • Document work orders and machine information accurately
  • Assess service task hazards and perform work safely
  • Use computer applications to document maintenance and inspection
  • Locate and order parts from parts personnel
  • Road test equipment and check attachment operation
Requirements:
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent
  • Commitment to customer service and service excellence
