Job Summary

The Dene National/Assembly of First Nations Office (NWT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Regional Climate Change Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver climate-related environmental programs and projects for the Dene National Office.
  • Act as a liaison between the Dene National Office, Assembly of First Nations, regional governments, Dene First Nations, other related government agencies and departments, private industry, businesses, and any other individuals, groups, or agencies.
  • Assist with arrangements for Dene Nation Leadership, Executive, Elder's Council, Annual General Meeting, and other meetings.
Requirements

The successful applicant will have a strong background in environmental science, climate change, or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
