Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team at A Class Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our machine shop, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and supervising workers and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient production
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the machine shop
  • Supervise workers and projects to meet production deadlines
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up machines and equipment for production
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a machine shop or production environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required
Work Environment

The machine shop is a dusty and noisy environment. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
