We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Information Security Leader to join our team at the National Bank. As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture and Information Security sector, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing portfolio management and prioritizing the bank's information security initiatives.

About the Role

As a Senior Director Info. Security Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic planning and cross-functional vision for information security initiatives. This includes coordinating, prioritizing, and managing the interdependencies of various initiatives across different information security teams and departments.

You will also monitor, measure, and communicate the health status of the information security portfolio, manage the budget for the information security project portfolio, and provide recommendations to various decision-making bodies. Additionally, you will ensure communication and appropriate change management with stakeholders on safety priorities and progress.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large team of about forty colleagues and report to the Chief Director of the Information Security Office. Our team is known for its fun, supportive atmosphere and quality of delivery and collaboration with other teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic planning and cross-functional vision for information security initiatives
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and manage the interdependencies of various initiatives across different information security teams and departments
  • Monitor, measure, and communicate the health status of the information security portfolio
  • Manage the budget for the information security project portfolio and provide recommendations to various decision-making bodies
  • Ensure communication and appropriate change management with stakeholders on safety priorities and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed bachelor's degree related to the field, and ten years of relevant experience, or completed master's degree related to the field, and eight years of relevant experience
  • Experience in portfolio implementation
  • Experience in team management
  • Knowledge of information security is an asset
  • Ability to simplify issues, risks, and business objectives
  • Ability to understand the business realities of the sectors involved
  • Influential leadership with a highly developed political sense
  • Ability to rally stakeholders towards common goals
  • Cooperate effectively, be accountable, and be part of the solution
