Job Title: Baker

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Alberta LTD. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.

Job Summary:
  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Ensure high-quality products are produced and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a baking or food production environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
