Evelyn's Coffee Bar Banff is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, following recipes and special customer orders.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to add a touch of elegance.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Reliability and dependability in a team environment.
