Job Title: Electrical Appliance Servicer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Servicer to join our team at TechVill Appliance Repair Ltd. As an Electrical Appliance Servicer, you will be responsible for conducting voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment, preparing written estimates of repair costs, and referring to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs
  • Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
  • Diagnose faults, using testing devices
  • Repair electrical appliances and components
  • Replace faulty components
  • Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances
Requirements:
  • Appliance Repair Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
  • Pre-apprenticeship training
  • Level one apprenticeship training
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
  • Level five apprenticeship training
Work Environment:

As an Electrical Appliance Servicer, you will work in an urban area, with various locations, and will be required to relocate. The employer will cover relocation costs. You will be working on the road, and a valid driver's license is required. The employer will provide a vehicle, and travel expenses will be paid.
