We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Supervisor to join our team at Maxi. As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department within our store.
Key Responsibilities- Department Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of department staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure that the department is well-stocked and that stock levels are optimized.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Store Operations: Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure that the store is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in French is required, as this is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Availability: Availability to work 40 hours per week is required.
