About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a technologist with experience in electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment, preparing recordings and reports for physicians, and reviewing patient case histories to determine procedures and tests required.

Responsibilities
  • Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment such as electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound machines, and other electronic devices.
  • Prepare recordings and reports of findings for physicians, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Review patient case histories to assess the nature of the problem and determine procedures and tests required, using clinical judgment to make informed decisions.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma from a recognized institution in a related field, such as electroencephalography technology or a related health care discipline.
  • Current registration with a provincial or territorial regulatory body, such as the Canadian Board of Electroencephalograph Technologists Registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
