Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Payments: Receive payment for goods or services, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure the cash handling area is clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: 30 to 40 hours per week.
