We are seeking a skilled Health Records Technician to join our team at Acupuncture Care Holistic Center. As a Health Records Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our patients' medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Abstract, Assemble and Analyze Clinical Data: You will be responsible for collecting, coding, cross-referencing, and storing health records and related information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Operate Information Systems: You will operate information systems to maintain indexes for classification systems and to manage and retrieve health records information.
  • Prepare Medical Statistics: You will prepare medical, social, and administrative statistics to support our healthcare services.
  • Classify and Store Records: You will classify, code, cross-reference, log, and store records in a secure and confidential manner.
  • Implement Records Classification Plans: You will implement and update records classification, retention, and disposal scheduling plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and Extract Records: You will operate information retrieval systems to research and extract records as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: You will work in a fast-paced environment in a healthcare institution, facility, or clinic.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be accurate, organized, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Experience: You must have at least 1 year of experience in a related field.
