Culinary Expertise Sought

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a Certified Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Manager to plan and execute menus, manage inventory, and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, responding to their dietary needs and concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in large-volume food cooking, preparation, and plating techniques.
  • Graduate of a recognized college food preparation program and Certified Red Seal certificate.
  • Valid regional food handler's certificate and ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong knife and preparation skills, as well as fundamental baking skills.
  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work well in a team environment.
