Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Gursewak dhillon. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate.

Work Environment:

  • Non-smoking environment.

Target Audience:

  • Adults.

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
