Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Motel 6 Trenton. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring our hotel rooms and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Inspect hotel rooms and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new cleaning staff
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy loads
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding work with standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
- Manual dexterity required for cleaning tasks
