Project Control Officer - Bilingual English/French

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Officer - Bilingual English/French to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Banking Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the project secretariat, preparing and distributing agendas, attending meetings, and recording action items.
  • Support the Delivery Manager to ensure all project areas are represented and maintain project momentum.
  • Document and cost project activities using Microsoft Project.
  • Communicate project status and escalate issues to the Delivery Manager or Senior Delivery Manager as required.
  • Maintain project files, risk, actions, and issues log, and budget.
  • Perform financial management activities, including project budget forecasting and payment processing.
  • Create financial Project Change Requests (PCRs) and update financial information for the Executive Steering Committee documents.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of financial management experience, specifically budgeting experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a project control position.
  • Strong familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • 1+ years of financial institution experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities, extroverted, and outgoing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new software and quick learner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP designation is an asset.
