Frontend Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our Growth & Trust Squad within the Growth and Scale group. This role is pivotal in driving initiatives that directly contribute to our company's strategic objectives.
Our team is responsible for crafting experiences that engage and delight users, driving them from first signup to retained customer. We partner with support, sales, and marketing to make this process self-serve to scale our business.
Key Responsibilities- Activation: Design and build the new-user experience that connects them to key aspects of the product and helps them become power users.
- Onboarding & Porting: Build a smooth and clear onboarding process that will help our customers quickly discover that our product is right for them.
- Compliance requirements: Register for compliance products could be confusing and overwhelming for customers. You will help design and build an experience that is nothing like going to a virtual DMV.
Your contributions will directly impact our ability to grow and scale as a company. As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Testing Solutions GmbH, you will spend the majority of your time coding, architecting, and owning moderate to complex components.
Technical Requirements- Our frontend is a Single Page Application built with React and MobX, using TypeScript.
- We develop in a monorepo powered by pnpm and Turborepo.
- We use Storybook for Component-driven development.
- Components are implemented with Vanilla Extract for the styles, React Aria, and our already existing Design System components.
- We write tests using Vitest and Playwright & use Sentry as our frontend observability tool.
- We are also updating our stack to include Relay & GraphQL.
- Other Tools: Figma, Heap, Linear, Notion, and Slack
- Strong experience with React & Typescript
- You enjoy taking an open-ended problem and collaborating with others to design & build a delightful end-user experience.
- You are knowledgeable about web performance, observability, and accessibility.
- You take ownership of your work and understand the importance of communication.
- You are intentional about how your work impacts customers, the community, and each other.
- You are curious and better seek to understand the 'why' behind things to better plan and build the 'how'.
- Your code is a pleasure for your teammates to read and understand and you strive to ensure it is readable, testable, and maintainable.
This position's annual base salary range is $197,000 - $220,000 CAD, plus equity and benefits.
The range displayed reflects the target for new hire salaries, and within this range, individual pay is determined by your skills and experience, as well as relevant education.
Salary is just one component of Testing Solutions GmbH's total compensation package. Your total rewards package will include equity, extensive medical coverage, a monthly lifestyle stipend, and a flexible PTO policy.
