At Silverton General Store, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
