B.C. LTD is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, as well as experience with financial software and tools. You will be responsible for:

  • Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
  • Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
  • Posting journal entries
  • Preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Preparing trial balance of books
  • Reconciling accounts
