Job Title: Industrial Electrician - Continental Shift

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at a new facility in Brantford. The successful candidate will work on the continental shift, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all work is managed in accordance with HACCP and GMP policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust electrical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors, and relays.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic system faults.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Maintain close communication with other employees, including Mechanics, Packaging Technicians, Process Operators, Refrigeration Technicians, and others.
  • Complete all required documentation, including updating the CMMS.
  • Ensure compliance with all plant safety rules and company SHEQ standards.
  • Support quality and food safety programs, including HACCP and FSCC-22000.
Requirements:
  • Industrial Electrician (442A and/or 309A) certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a food manufacturing plant.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP training preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents related to the job, function, or assignment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
