About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Advisor to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities. As an Investment Advisor, you will play a key role in helping your clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners to understand their complex financial needs and provide personalized advice and guidance.
  2. Financial Planning and Wealth Management: Leverage RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for your clients, helping them to achieve their long-term financial objectives.
  3. Business Development: Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners, such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance, to ensure your clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives.
  4. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 4-6 years of outbound sales experience, with a proven track record of success in high-value sales and business development.
  2. Education: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial planning and portfolio management principles.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Personal Qualities: A passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
