Clinical Nursing Supervisor LPN

Classic LifeCare, a trusted family-run home care agency with almost 50 years of experience, is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nursing Supervisor for our Vancouver branch.

This is a permanent part-time role, offering guaranteed hours 3 days a week. Candidates with a Footcare Certificate are also encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will provide clinical supervision and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to support the delivery of high-quality home care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and empower employees and clients.
  • Provide orientation, training, and mentorship to employees.
  • Develop programs aligned with Classic LifeCare's culture and Accreditation Canada's home support standards.
  • Influence and actively participate in home care delivery systems.
  • Collaborate on assessments and implement person-centred care plans.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN/RN registration with the BCCNM.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Advance Foot care Certificate (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients' family members, and relevant organizations to ensure clients' best interests and goals are met.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Greater Vancouver area.
  • Capability to manage a client case load, including scheduling visits and promptly responding to emails and phone calls.
  • A people and community-focused mindset, prioritizing client-centered care and community collaboration.
  • Willingness to contribute to the development of services based on unique strengths and interests, promoting continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, with specific days and times to be discussed during the interview process.
  • Enjoyment of a fun and engaging working environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth.
