Senior Design Architect Job Description

AECOM Buildings + Places, a vibrant and growing fully integrated team, is seeking a Senior Design Architect to join our Greater Toronto Area offices with remote/hybrid work options permitted.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Innovation: Manage complex projects, lead cross-disciplinary teams, and drive innovation to deliver cohesive and sustainable design solutions.
  • Design and Project Management: Develop and deliver architectural designs that serve as benchmarks for the industry, guiding projects from inception to completion.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring their visions are translated into progressive architectural designs.

Qualifications:

  • No less than a University Degree in Architecture plus six (6) years of experience as a Registered Architect with the OAA.
  • Experience on Industrial Projects, including Transit and Operations, Maintenance, and Storage Facilities preferably for municipal, rail, and bus electrification.
