Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing timely and accurate financial information. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing other tasks related to financial management.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare tax returns and other statutory reports as required
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Degree in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
