Construction Cost Estimator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at Charles Joseph Plastering LTD. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms
- Advise on tendering procedures and analyze tenders to recommend awards
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project expenses
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
- Group insurance benefits and permanent employment
- 30 to 40 hours per week, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
