Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the reliability of boiler and refrigeration systems, as well as water treatment services.
- Supervise and direct tradespeople to ensure the efficient operation of steam systems, refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, water supply systems, and fire protection.
- Oversee the supervision of contracted services within the factory as required.
- Drive and support Continuous Improvement ideas, as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting opportunities that arise on shift.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including budget control, task/time scheduling, and electronic reporting.
- Supervise and direct the overall operation of the department.
- Assist factory teams in developing areas of opportunity.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment with support from other leaders.
- Coach and mentor plant associates on change management and driving/sustaining positive business practices and tool applications on the shop floor.
- Prepare shift schedules and oversee associate training.
- Liaise with corporate support for project management initiatives.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process, including process improvement initiatives, employee training, and upgrading your current skill base.
- Support and identify training opportunities/activities for the Maintenance Department.
- Complete and submit required reports in a timely manner.
- 1st Class Power Engineers Certificate
- 5 to 10 years of supervisory experience
