Job Summary

At Roof Rider, we are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities

- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Install sheet metal flashings
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms

Requirements

- No supervision responsibility
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
