Job Title: Regional Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Client Services, the Regional Manager is responsible for the overall performance of business operations in the Northwest region. Key responsibilities include directing and motivating staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and providing effective and efficient client and project service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the region to provide optimum service delivery.
  • Develop and implement a regional annual work plan derived from the RLI Business Plan and Annual Operational Plan.
  • Conduct labour market analysis and consult with internal and external stakeholders to determine client training and employment needs.
  • Evaluate and report trends and issues that may affect clients, projects, the economy, or local labour market.
  • Plan and coordinate the Mobile Service Unit delivery and associated services.
  • Develop and negotiate contribution agreements, budgets, and other documents to ensure compliance with the 'ISETP' performance measures and established RLI procedures.
  • Manage client services and project budget allocation utilizing RLI's financial software and monthly finance reports.
  • Prepare quarterly updates and progress reports based on the regional annual work plan.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Management, or Social Sciences.
  • Extensive experience in administration at a manager's level and excellent understanding of administration and analysis of financial spreadsheets.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs, internal processes, and procedures.
  • Experience in a non-profit and Indigenous organization is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients, community members, government officials, industry partners, RLI employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle and maintain confidentiality for sensitive or private information.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
