About the Role:

Dynacare is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enter requisitions and results into our system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, displaying empathy and kindness in stressful situations.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
