Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Derivative Hedge Qualifications team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering system enhancements and upgrades, working closely with IT support and other teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal impact on hedge qualification and P&L volatility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of system changes, ensuring thorough testing and proper implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT support and other teams to ensure proposed changes do not have an adverse impact on hedge qualification and P&L volatility.
  • Manage direct reports, establishing performance objectives, defining roles and expectations, and providing timely feedback.
  • Coordinate various initiatives and projects, including HAQS adaptation and smart automation.
  • Ensure all system changes are fully tested and implemented properly, without impacting existing functionality.
Requirements
  • Motivating, coaching, curious, analytical, and collaborative problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Proactive and creative, with strong ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
  • Detailed-oriented with proven ability to analyze and document complex systems.
  • Solid knowledge of hedge accounting, finance, and financial products, including various derivatives.
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Computer Science with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the Bank's operations, procedures, HAQS, PEAK, JIRA, PeopleSoft EGL, OBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
