About the Role

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is seeking qualified and certified French as a Second Language/French Immersion Teachers to join our team. As a French as a Second Language/French Immersion Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French language and culture to students in our elementary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French language and culture to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
  • Qualified applicants must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Must provide a Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Must provide a Faith Reference Portfolio, including a pastoral reference form
  • Must provide two professional letters of reference
  • Must provide University Transcripts (Undergraduate & B.Ed.)
