About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Importation International Bochitex. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and ensure web-server backup and recovery operations are conducted efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and designers, providing timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Bilingualism in English and French is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
