Job Title: Lead Glass Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced glass fitter to join our team at Ultimate Glass. As a lead glass fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of glass products.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with our installation team to ensure that all glass products are installed correctly and efficiently.
  • You will be responsible for cutting, assembling, and installing prefabricated glass, mirrors, and other glass products.
  • You will also be required to repair and replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project.
  2. Measure, mark, and cut glass according to specifications.
  3. Position and secure panes in frame.
  4. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
  5. Install door, window, and other hardware.
  6. Repair glass doors and other glass structures.
  7. Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in glass fitting and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of glass cutting, assembling, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
