Job Title: Licensed Optician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and serve customers with a smile, setting expectations and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet standards and customer needs.
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, showcasing your problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Utilize technology effectively, even in high-pressure situations, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State licensure as an Optician.
  • Optical dispensing experience, with a strong focus on customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise and awareness of fashion trends.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
  • Ability to work with new technology and adapt to change.
