Cloud Migrations Architect

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Cloud Migrations Architect to provide expertise and support with designing, architecting, and setting up Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a broad set of skills to ensure a successful migration to the cloud, including experience with Azure, cloud architecture, and migration progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect Azure cloud infrastructure to meet business needs
  • Assist with migrating applications from on-prem to Azure cloud
  • Provide support to management and IT teams
  • Monitor migration progress and address technical issues
  • Ensure privacy and security in the cloud
Requirements:
  • Programming experience, networking experience, database, security, and DevOps experience
  • Leadership experience in project implementation teams and cloud services implementation
  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in a multi-account, multi-cloud environment
  • Architect experience in a large organization
  • Experience implementing cloud services with Azure
Nice to Have:
  • Experience preparing and presenting comprehensive information to management
  • Cloud architecture training and certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Experience managing issues/escalations to resolution
  • Experience playing a major role in a large IT Project
  • Experience working with IT teams and vendors
