Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock and wastage.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Maintain records of staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
