Project Manager

Job Description:
  • Contribute to sales meetings with potential clients, working closely with Business Development leads.
  • Develop, manage, and update construction schedules and job costs to ensure project success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, facilitating efficient collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Manage owner and consultant-initiated change notices and change orders, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Source pricing from subcontractors for change notices and process change orders in a timely manner.
  • Review and process shop drawings, guaranteeing compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate site subcontractor meetings, taking minutes and distributing them to all parties involved.
  • Facilitate Owner / Consultant meetings, documenting proceedings and sharing minutes with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Project Estimator in preparing estimates as needed.
  • Review and approve subcontractor monthly progress draws.
  • Prepare monthly progress claims and submit them to the Owner for payment.
  • Develop monthly project forecasting models.
  • E nsure the Site Superintendent has access to the latest project documents, including drawings, specifications, subcontracts, schedules, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure overall project coordination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of prior Project Management experience in diverse settings.
  • Diploma in a relevant construction or engineering program from a recognized institution.
  • Integrated Project Delivery Contract experience is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Project, Scheduling, and Project Management software.
  • Experience in various contract types and delivery methods.
  • Strong understanding of contract review and negotiation, along with technical, business, financial, and legal acumen.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including strong team-building capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • A valid provincial driver's license and willingness to travel approximately once a month to visit sites under construction.
What We Offer:
