About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly and Integration Specialist to join our team at Samuel Packaging Systems Group. As a key member of our automation solutions group, you will be responsible for assembling and integrating complex manufacturing equipment to meet the specifications of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Integration: Assemble manufactured and purchased components to meet specifications, including complex arrangements requiring fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances.
  • Equipment Installation and Validation: Complete assembly, installation, and validation of specifications for machines of varying size and complexity, collaborating with engineering to obtain design clarification as required.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members and apprentices on safe work practices and assembly techniques.
  • Customer Support: Install equipment on customer sites, including training and support through SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical concepts, superior problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Must have a valid passport and driver's license, with the ability to travel to customer sites locally and internationally, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
