Job Title: Intermediate Machine Tool Builder and Integrator

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Machine Tool Builder and Integrator to join our team at Samuel Automation Solutions Group (ASG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing complex machinery, collaborating with engineering to clarify design specifications, and mentoring less experienced team members.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all assemblies meet specifications and are installed correctly. Additionally, you will be responsible for training customers on equipment and providing support through SAT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install complex machinery, including manufactured and purchased components, to meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering to clarify design specifications and ensure that all assemblies meet requirements.
  • Mentor less experienced team members, providing feedback on skills and behavior, and guidance on safe work practices.
  • Install equipment on customer sites, including training and support.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and superior problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Valid passport and driver's license, with ability to travel to customer sites locally and internationally.
  • Additional hours may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service.
