About the Job

WARIS CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on wood and other materials
  • Cut and shape materials to precise specifications
  • Assemble and join materials to create frames, walls, and other structures
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Supervise and train other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in framing and carpentry an asset
