About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Johal Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of framing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Site Management
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
    • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Team Leadership
    • Instruct apprentices
    • Supervise other workers
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
