About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Controller to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Security Measures: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network from unauthorized access.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network efficiency.
  • Network Setup: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
  • Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum efficiency.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
