  • At Alliance Express Ltd, we are seeking an experienced long distance truck driver to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in the industry.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, oversee the condition of the vehicle, and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with central dispatch, record cargo information, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

As a long haul truck driver at Alliance Express Ltd, you will be responsible for driving our company's straight or articulated trucks along national and provincial routes. The successful candidate will have experience in the industry, a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and excellent communication skills.

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in the industry.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to sit for long periods, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, a team player, hardworking, and patient.

This is a permanent position with 40 to 50 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be willing to travel for extended periods.
