Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at NK Transportation. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, typically exceeding 100 miles, to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, following established routes and schedules.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation and logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • 1-7 months of experience as a truck driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
