Expand Reach Inc., a leading underground construction services provider, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable activities, ensuring proper revenue recognition and oversight of payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts receivable and payable activities to ensure accurate revenue recognition and timely payments.
- Lead the month-end closing process and prepare financial packages for each business unit.
- Prepare key balance sheet account reconciliations and support other department members as needed.
- Assist in the annual external audit and review of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and ASPE policies and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or business administration.
- 6+ years of experience in senior accounting or management positions.
- Professional certification or working towards CPA program completion.
- Experience with Jonas Construction software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial background with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
