Stockperson/Cartpusher

As a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient shopping environment. Your primary responsibility will be to collect shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them to a safe storage location. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, responding promptly to requests at all registers, and safely assisting customers with carry outs or carry ins.

4. Follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handling chemicals, and following correct disposal procedures.
5. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are being followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
6. Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
7. Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically able to lift and move heavy objects, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
