Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them to a safe storage location while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers by collecting shopping carts and returning them to a safe storage location.
- Respond promptly to requests at all registers and assist customers with carry outs or carry ins.
- Follow established guidelines for cleaning and maintenance of restrooms and handling chemicals.
- Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including guidelines for hazardous communications and blood borne pathogens.
- Maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.
- Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and reflective vest.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.55, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
