We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-stream position in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto. The successful applicant will be appointed as an Assistant Professor and will be expected to contribute to the department's research and teaching activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the area of housing, community, and economic development
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in geography and planning
- Supervise graduate students and contribute to departmental service
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative methodologies and experience in using geographic information systems, economic models, and other relevant tools. They will also have a strong research agenda and a demonstrated ability to secure external funding.
