About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Lola Confectionary. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
