About the Role

Lunatech Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical systems and components
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment, including power plants and machines
  • Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures to ensure optimal performance
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
Requirements
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
