Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Produce Clerk - Retail Store Operations. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for providing legendary service to our customers, maintaining a clean and well-organized department, and ensuring that our products are displayed in a visually appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service through various communication channels
• Maintain a clean and well-organized department, including proper preparation of products and production records
• Procure, receive, and display product with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation
• Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices
• Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience; background in the retail produce industry is considered an asset
• Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do
• Well-organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• Familiar with food safe procedures and practices
• Ability to fulfill extensive physical labor job requirements – standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and frequent operation of a pallet jack
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
